Wyoming's Big Show - the Sweetwater County Fair

When Wyoming wants to kick up its heels, it does it during The Big Show at the Sweetwater Events Complex. Each summer, Wyoming’s Big Show draws folks from hundreds of miles to Sweetwater County. The Big Show delivers on fun with rodeo action, family-friendly carnival rides, a wide variety of delicious dining options, evening concerts and 4-H and livestock exhibits.

Daily Entertainment

  • Lanky the Clown

    Lanky the Clown will once again be bringing his unique blend of humor, compassion and FUN to the fair. Lanky, and his partners Smile Inspector and Sheriff Shorty, will be clowning around on the midway as well as hosting some of the family fun contests. 

  • Xpogo Stunt Team

    Xpogo Stunt Team

    The Xpogo Stunt Team is the best extreme pogo performance team in the world. Jumping over 9 feet in the air on next-generation pogo sticks while throwing down flips and incredible tricks. The stunt team holds 13 current Guinness World Records! 

  • Fair Animal Specialties

    Fair Animal Specialties

    Fair Animal Specialties petting zoo is sure to be one the most memorable and talked-about attractions at the fair. These hands-on interactive educational presentations are a hit for kids and adults of all ages.  

  • Travel*n Opry

    Travel*n Opry

    Bruce and Betsy Mullen travel the country far and wide performing country music. When they perform you will hear songs from many of the late and great legends. There might even be a few 50’s & 60’s rock & roll songs slipped in along with some originals.

    Loop Rawlins, a showman and master of his craft, has been praised as one of the smoothest, highly technical western performers in the world today.

    When Grandparents, moms & dads bring their children to see the show, they are making exciting, joyful, and thrilling memories that will last a lifetime. The goal is to see that audiences are delighted with each and every exciting & educational show.

    Come try out old fashioned hand held wood stilts and bucket stilts. Anyone from toddlers to grandparents can learn to walk on stilts.

    Many people talk about the importance of getting youth involved with the clean family sport of fishing – we actually do something about it! All fishing poles, tackle and bait are provided free of charge! Be sure to visit this 6000 galloon aquarium.

    Be ready for an action-packed performance that highlights a unique variety of cirque-style skills that include riding very tall unicycles & industrial strength pogo sticks, juggling super sharp and flaming torches and spinning hand saws. 

  • Beat of Time

    Beat of Time

    Back for a repeat engagement Beat of Time will be playing nightly in the Pepsi Tent. With big screens, a laser show and music to keep you on your feet plan on late nights! 

Carnival

 

Brown's Amusement Carnival

Brown’s Amusements will once again be bringing the carnival to the Sweetwater County Fair in 2014. One of the best carnivals in the nation, Brown’s Amusements achieved the OABA’s (Outdoor Amusement Business Association) Circle of Excellence Award for Safety in 2007 and 2010. This award is based upon their ability to excel in the areas of safety, service, operations and administrative duties. They are inspected by a team of independent consultants for the OABA who review all their eternal operational books, safety records and daily operations over two days.

Brown’s Amusements thoroughly inspects every ride at each event and put a lot of time into training their staff. They have a comprehensive employee-training program, which ensures their employees are properly trained and educated. Their attention to detail has helped build our impressive reputation amongst our peers.
