The Sweetwater Events Complex is fast becoming known as Wyoming's Horse Headquarters because of the events we host!  
   

• Big Show Barrel Race (August 1-2, 2008) 
  Held in conjunction with Wyoming's Big Show, this event is quickly becoming a favorite among regional competitors. 
      

• Hairy Horse Show
  Saturday, May 17, 2008 - 8 am - Indoor Arena
  Bits and Spurs approved show sponsored by the Sweetwater County 4-H Horse Development Committee

• Lope & Lead Horse Show Series
  Six shows through the fall & winter 2007-2008
     

• The Power of Pink - Breast Cancer Benefit Barrel Race (October 3-5, 2008)
  A 4-D race with an expected payout of $35,000. 
      

• Red Desert Classic Barrel Race (June 6-8, 2008) 
  Held the first weekend in June, this is one of the biggest and best events in the region.  The Red Desert Classic features over $40,000 in cash and prizes. 
      

• Red Desert Roundup Rodeo
  July 24-26, 20008
  Sweetwater Events Complex Outdoor Arena
     

• Spring Series Barrel Race 
  3 big weekends of racing with series end prizes.  Over $4,500 in added money and prizes for the series.
