The Sweetwater Events Complex is one of the most flexible, well-equipped facilities in Wyoming. At the Complex, we are more than square feet and electrical outlets; when you use our facilities, you get the people, the place, the experience and the special attentive service that makes the Sweetwater Events Complex a top quality, full-service facility. Our outstanding facilities, excellent location and qualified staff members all help to make your event the success it deserves. 

Our business is seeing to it that your event is the finest and most memorable it can be. We'll work to do just that! And we'll make it seem so easy! Just tell us what you want. 

Our 20,000 square foot exhibition building is spacious and versatile, adapting smoothly to your requirements. We also have a 42,480 square foot agricultural complex and parking for more than 700 vehicles. All conveniently located, just 5 miles from downtown Rock Springs and easily accessible from Interstate 80, the Sweetwater Events Complex serves you right!

The Sweetwater Events Complex is located off Interstate 80 in close proximity to both Denver, CO and Salt Lake City, UT. Additionally, the complex is located near highway 191 north, the crossroads to Yellowstone National Park. 

We're also located near the White Mountain Golf Course with easy access to Interstate 80 


Exhibit Hall - a versatile building which accommodates trade shows, Christmas parties, wedding receptions, entertainment and many other special events (20,000 square feet). Banquet style seating is available for up to 1,500 people in the exhibit hall. For a floor plan of the Exhibit Hall, please click here (.pdf, 134 k) 

These photos show the Exhibit Hall set up for an awards banquet.  In the background of the photo, you'll notice the portable wall that divides the Exhibit Hall into a smaller room for this particular banquet.  

Above you'll see out Meeting Room which is in the Exhibit Hall.  This room can easily fit 50 or more and has direct outside access as well as adjacent access to the restrooms.  

   
    

The newly remodeled kitchen facility in the Exhibit Hall offers a variety of amenities for catering.  Some of the features of the kitchen include a walk-in cooler as well as upright cooler, warming units, gas stoves and convection ovens, dishwashing area and serving windows.  The kitchen can easily serve gatherings upward of 1,000.  


Grandstands and Arena - A great outdoor venue with a seating capacity of 2,950 plus portable seating. The perfect location for rodeos, horse racing, concerts, circuses, demolition derbies, etc.

These photos show the Grandstands (left) and the accompanying arena on the right.  The grandstands and arena are perfect for equestrian events as well as Arena Cross Racing, Demolition Derbies, Mud Races, and more.   


Indoor Arena - Ideal for horse shows, agricultural events and more, the indoor arena has a seating capacity of 1,500. The riding area is 100' by 200'. Riding time can be rented in the indoor arena for as little as $15 per hour with a two hour minimum. Please contact us for specific details and availability. 

   

The photo on the top left shows the Indoor Arena which houses equestrian and livestock events as well as indoor BXM racing, Arena Cross Racing, Mud Races, auctions, clinics and more.  It's a versatile space that can easily accommodate a variety of uses.   

The top right photo shows the East Indoor Arena.  At 60' by 200', it offers plenty of space as an equestrian warm-up arena or staging area.  

In the bottom photos, you'll see the permanent seating in the Indoor Arena.  Portable seating can be added for a capacity of roughly 1,500.  

The Indoor Arena also features up-to-date restrooms and shower facilities as well as a complete concession kitchen.  The announcers area is elevated and features 3 rooms, a private restroom and a complete sound system.  


Stalls and Stock Pens - The Sweetwater Events Complex has 200 covered and 100 uncovered box stalls. Additionally we have a variety of stock pens available. Stalls are $15 per night and available by contacting our office at (307) 352-6789, ext. 200 or checking in with our caretaker upon arrival. 

The stall area is well lit and has nearby parking as well as arena access.  The area also features a wash-rack.   


Midway - landscaped area that's great for trade shows, RV shows, entertainment, company picnics and more. 


Sweetwater Speedway - A 3/8 mile banked oval track. Referred to as the "fastest dirt track in the west," seating is available for nearly 5,000 people. The pit area can accommodate over 100 vehicles. A three story pit tower offers the media and racers an excellent view!  The motorsports facility also features a BMX track, Moto-Cross track and pee-wee track.  

The stall area is well lit and has nearby parking as well as arena access.  The area also features a wash-rack.   


Miscellaneous areas include horseshoe pits, Bocci Bolli court, RV facilities & electrical hookups, fishing ponds, several smaller halls and more. 

The Sweetwater Events Complex features 5 fishing ponds which are stocked with fish seasonally by the Wyoming Game and Fish.  The ponds are excellent spots for family gatherings, picnics, photos or just a relaxing day fishing.  

The horseshoe pits and nearby Bocci Bolli Courts are great summer gathering spots.  Leagues are held weekly during the summer.  The space is also available for picnics and the like.  

The Sweetwater Events Complex also proudly features several memorial monuments.  The areas are nicely landscaped and a great area for reflection.
