The Sweetwater County Events Complex is a key element in the tourism sector in Sweetwater County. The 30 year-old Complex encompasses 320 acres of facilities and hosts a variety of local and regional events. The facility currently has 736 event days a year, with multiple events occurring in the riding area, the exhibit hall, the stock car track and other facilities simultaneously. The facility has established itself as a premiere facility of its type in the Rocky Mountain region. The economic impact study for the Sweetwater Events Complex along with a market demand and financial feasibility report was completed in January, 2007.
